Still no word

Summary: Shannon Webb-Campbell's debut poetry collection, Still No Word, unearths, seeks, and calls out. Webb-Campbell charts themes such as Aboriginal ancestry, loss, grief, longing, and love. Her poetry is patient, searching, questioning, and at times heart breaking. It recognizes a deep past within the present. Still No Word is a collection that is reflective, angry, sensual, and humorous, but it is socially aware and intelligent. Political at times, this isn't politics for the sake of politics: here, politics are a matter of the human heart. These poems have a rare quality of being public while remaining private and personal.
