Then, there is the rise of Pinokineechie, a wooden Indian, who takes on human form when the four neechie elements are combined, which he needs to keep his new found form. However, Paskwa-Iskwêw (Prairie Woman), the old kôhkom on the reserve, refuses to make it for him anymore. It is then that Pinokineechie must send his two associates, Bannock Slap and Papoose Face, to the Hudson Bay to retrieve the original bannock recipe in a old shipwreck from the 1600s.
