Camembert is a major symbol of French cheese-making and is copied the world over. Master of Cheese Will Studd travels to the source the village of Camembert in northern France and the dairy of Monsieur Durand, the last farmhouse Camembert producer in the Normandy region. Next stop is the cooperative of Isigny St. Mère, one of the country's most respected producers of traditional raw milk Camembert. Chef Joel Meslin of Restaurant Chez Roger demonstrates recipes using this cheese. Studd explains the difference between Camembert and its ancient cousin, Brie, and visits the Paris cheese shop of Roland Barthelemy, who supplies the Élysée Palace.
