Summary: The expanded and revised 14th edition of Hiking Trails I features 32 hiking areas, grouped into four sections by geographic location, and with a fifth section that includes regional trail descriptions. There are over 140 described hikes, and many chapters also include short descriptions of nearby hiking spots and/or area highlights. All the maps are new and in colour in this edition. The book includes hints and cautions for hikers, notes about the flora and fauna of the area, lists of hikes by level of difficulty, family-friendly hikes, and dog-friendly hikes, and information about accessible areas, making it useful to novice and experienced hikers alike.
